Gratuities/Tipping onboard Cruise Ships

Gratuities are a customary way of showing your appreciation to the staff on board who have made your cruise so enjoyable. It is also, in most cases, an important part of the staff's remuneration package.

Tipping is a personal matter and depends on your individual experience on board, this little table sets out each cruise company's recommendations. If you have never cruised before, this will give you a guide to how much money you need to set aside and help you budget your spending money.

If you feel as though you wish to tip more or less, this can be arranged on board. If you wish to pre pay your gratuities in the UK as part of your cruise fare, then please ask one of our cruise specialists who will be able to tell you if this is possible and how much this will be.
