Florence, capital of Italy’s Tuscany region, is home to many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. The Galleria dell'Accademia displays Michelangelo’s “David” sculpture. The Uffizi Gallery exhibits Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus” and da Vinci’s “Annunciation.”
